Dashboard

The Dashboard is the first page you land on after signing in. It has two tabs: Device Identity and Resources.

Device Identity

Dashboard — Device Identity tab

Shows:

  • Hostname — editable (see below).
  • Model — the gateway's model number.
  • Serial Number.
  • Ubuntu Version.
  • Device Manager Version.

Changing the hostname

  1. Click Edit next to Hostname.
  2. Type the new hostname.
  3. Click Save to apply it, or Cancel to discard your change.

Resources

Click the Resources tab to see live device load:

Dashboard — Resources tab

  • CPU, Memory, and Disk tiles — each shows a percentage and a bar. The bar turns amber once usage passes 70%, as an early warning.
  • Load average — the standard 1/5/15-minute load figures.
  • Memory used / total and Root FS used / total, in MB.
  • Public folder used / cap — how much of the Files Public folder's storage allowance is in use.
  • CPU temperature.
  • Uptime, in seconds.

If a value can't be read (for example, no temperature sensor on this model), Cockpit shows "Not available" instead of leaving it blank.
