Setup → Logs shows the SCADash server's own startup and runtime log — useful for confirming the server started cleanly, or for troubleshooting after a change:

Setup → Events is a searchable history of what happened on this SCADash instance — client connect/disconnect, device start/stop, and similar — each with a timestamp and a short JSON detail:

Use the date range filter to narrow results, or the Filter box to search by text. This is the place to check if you need to confirm when a device connection dropped, or when someone last connected to the runtime view or Editor.
