Date, time, and timezone

The Synchronize time automatically (NTP) checkbox and manual time entry are mutually exclusive:

  • NTP on (the default) — the gateway keeps its own clock in sync automatically. The manual Date & time field and Set time button are disabled while this is on.
  • NTP off — turn this off to unlock manual time entry, set the date and time, and click Set time.

To change the Timezone, pick one from the dropdown and click Save timezone — this works independently of the NTP setting.

Rebooting the device

The page becomes unreachable until the device is back up

Click Reboot device, then confirm:

Reboot this device now? Anyone using it will lose their connection until it comes back up.

Only reboot when you're prepared for a short outage — anything running on the gateway (Node-RED flows, a SCADA app, active ForwPort/EProx sessions) is interrupted until it finishes restarting.
