Alarms¶
Setup → Alarms defines threshold alarms on numeric tags — for example, flagging a tank level or temperature that goes too high or too low.

Each alarm row has:
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Name | The alarm's name |
| Device / Variable | The tag this alarm watches |
| High High | The most severe high threshold |
| High | A less severe high threshold |
| Low | A low threshold |
| Message | Text shown when the alarm is active |
| Actions | What happens when the alarm triggers (varies per alarm) |
Click + to add one, pick the tag to watch, and set whichever thresholds apply — you don't need to fill in all of High High / High / Low, only the ones relevant to that tag.
Viewing active alarms¶
An Alarms table widget (like the one on this gateway's default view) can be placed on any view to show active and historical alarms to an operator — see Views & widgets. Alarms can also trigger notifications to alert someone by email or other channel.
