Charts, Locations & AR¶
Line charts & Bar charts¶
Setup → Line charts and Setup → Bar charts define reusable chart configurations — each with a Name, Label, the Device(s)/tags it plots, Y-axis, Interpolation, Color, and Fill — that can then be dropped onto a view as a widget without re-configuring the chart from scratch each time:

Locations¶
Setup → Locations associates a named location with a view (Name, View, Description) — useful on a multi-view project as a way to organize or link between views by physical location (a specific line, room, or site).
AR markers¶
Setup → AR markers is a distinctive SCADash feature: printable QR markers that open a specific view in augmented reality on a phone or tablet.

AR markers connect a printed QR marker to a view. Create a marker, assign it to a view, download and print the QR code, then open the AR URL from a mobile device on the same network and point the camera at the marker.
To set one up:
- Click + and give the marker a Label, the View it should open, and a TTL (how long the AR overlay stays valid once scanned).
- Click the download icon to get a printable QR code for that marker — post it near the equipment it represents.
- On a phone or tablet on the same network, open the AR URL
(
http://<gateway-ip>:1881/ar) and point the camera at the printed marker. The associated view appears overlaid on the camera feed.
