Reports

Setup → Reports schedules recurring exports of process data (values, trends, or alarm history) sent to a recipient by email:

Each report has a Name, Receiver, Scheduling/Interval, and Type. Reports that include chart images need the CHART plugins installed — see Plugins — and sending any report by email needs SMTP configured under Setup → Settings → SMTP (see Project Settings).

Notifications

Setup → Notifications sends an alert — separate from a scheduled report — when something specific happens, such as an alarm triggering:

Each notification has a Name, Receivers, Delay, Interval, Type, whether it's Enabled, and its Subscriptions (which events or alarms trigger it). Like Reports, delivering a notification by email needs SMTP configured first.
